The more you imagine…the more you dream!
It seemed from the moment I became a mother, I devoted my life to enveloping them in magical moments, widening their eyes and creating the freedom to dream beyond their wildest imaginings.
Dreaming is beautiful and fun and necessary and a helluva lot of fun. And it starts with encouraging the expression of themselves in their own little spaces.
We recently sold our beautiful home and moved into a renovator. A house with enormous potential (and a big job). For the immediate future we needed to turn the dark ‘spiders-live-here’ type old brick and stained plasterboard rooms into spaces our girls felt at home, safe and inspired.
Annabel (7) has a love of art, music and dance. She has begged for the WILDFLOWERS in her room ever since we released them here at Little Rae HQ.
To create the feeling of magic in her room, we painted the brick & walls white to lighten and brighten the space, put up her stunning four poster bed, and kept decor to a minimum to allow the art to really bring the room to life! And my goodness, it did.
Annabel chose the stunning Little Rae Prints WILDFLOWER Half Wall - a stunning statement wall decal which sits at 1.5m high. With no background, it looks hand painted onto the wall - a true testament to the hand painted and luxurious art aesthetic of Little Rae Prints. With twinkling lights and flowers seemingly spinning to life from the wall, the magic of the wilderness now surrounds Annabel in her dream space and her reaction - it was a tearjerker. Is there any better sound than that of child screaming with jaw-dropping excitement and then calming down and saying the word….WOW?!
